Tooflez are happy to present the debut EP from long-term member of the Tooflez family, Ida Bux. For a long time we’ve believed in Ida’s sound, her artistry and her dedication to the music - and so it’s a no-brainer for us to proudly present to you ‘Impulse Reaction.’

‘Exotic Detroit’ opens with a with a dramatic and ravey intro paired with MIA samples. Taking inspiration from early 90s/2000s hard groove, layers of full-bodied percussion, loopy melodies and vocal cuts, it speedily develops into big-room-ready-techno, but with a fun and energetic flare.

The same thing can also be said for ’Schadzowanka’. MIA’s vocals appear here again and throughout the EP, as a homage to one of Ida’s favourite influences (along side Detroit, breakbeats, and all kinds of hip-hop.)

‘Where is the Night’ takes the features of the first two tracks and marries it with breaks to reach the ultimate ravey crescendo.

Accompanied by two remixes: LuBeats euphoric breakbeat take on ‘Schadzowanka’, and ANDI A. gives ‘Exotic Detroit’ the Tooflez treatment.
